THE ALEXANDER KIRCHER ROOM
Seascapist Alexandar Kircher (Triest, 1867 – Dresden, 1939) was a world traveller
and the official painter of the Royal Austrian Navy (K.u. K. Marine) as well
as a well-known panorama painter.
The Rovinj town museum has 12 representative
canvases which once were part of industrialist Georg von Hutterott’s collection
on the nearby Red Island.
